SEFTIM considers that the most important lightning protection is to protect people.
Get the message about how to protect themselves and the very fact that it is possible to protect yourself is not always easy even in countries where associations such as National Lightning Safety Institute in USA work every day in that direction.
An action that seems effective is to begin with the training of children knowing that they will get the message to their parents.
In this context, SEFTIM presented at the National Library in Maputo, books for children written in the Portuguese official language.
This action was undertaken with the support of Guido Carmargo Potier Universidade Catolica do Rio Gande do Sul in Brazil, who works actively for the protection of children
