Ce forum, co-présidé par Alain Rousseau, président du comité CENELEC et Directeur de SEFTIM France, abordait différents thèmes tels que : Expériences physiques et scientifiques sur la foudre

In September 2009 took place in Chongqing, China a 3-days International Forum on Lightning Protection and Disaster Mitigation.
Alain Rousseau, Chairman of Surge Protective Device CENELEC Committee and SEFTIM General Manager was one of the two chairmen of this forum, that included four sessions :
- Lightning physics and scientific experiments
- Lightning detection and warning technology and its application
- Lightning protection technology
- Lightning protection products and their application
